Client ghosted after I sent the contract for a $5k website redesign last Thursday. What's the move after a week of radio silence?

Send a follow-up email Monday morning, keep it light. Ask if they got the contract or have any questions. I had a client vanish for ten days once, turned out their kid got sick and it just slipped their mind. If you don't hear back by Wednesday, call them. Sometimes people just get busy or overwhelmed, you know? But you gotta know when to move on, so maybe give it one more try next week then close the file.

Ten days is a long time for something to just slip your mind for a $5k deal. I'd be closing that file way sooner.

Ever notice how people treat big money decisions like they're just ignoring a text about weekend plans? It feels like the bigger the number, the more it short circuits basic manners. I see this all the time now, not just in business. Someone will commit to something serious, then just vanish when it's time to sign on the line. Makes you wonder if the number itself is the problem, like it scares them off. I'd send one more check in, but honestly, their silence is your answer.
