Guy in Toledo offered to pay my day rate upfront and I froze for 10 seconds
We were at a Panera and he just slid a check across the table for $1,800 before I even said my number out loud, and I sat there like an idiot because I had been prepping a whole speech about why I charge what I charge. Has anyone else had a customer skip the whole haggling part and somehow that made it harder to respond?
