Question about renegotiating a contract after a botched job in Cleveland
Last week I underquoted a handyman gig by $150 and the homeowner kept adding stuff for free, so I tried to renegotiate mid-project and it got awkward fast. Has anyone else walked back a rate after realizing the scope was way off, and did you have a script that didnt make things worse?

You bid the job, you eat the cost. That's the whole game. Adding a few extras on the fly isn't a reason to cry poor mid-project, it's just bad planning on your end.
