Rant: a guy in Dallas asked me to itemize my $85 hourly rate and I froze
He didn't want a discount, he just wanted to see where the hours went, and when I broke it down into drive time, setup, and actual wrench time at his kitchen table, he said 'oh, that's fair' and wrote the check on the spot, so now I'm wondering how many other people I've lost just because I never showed my math.
