Remember when a handshake was enough to lock a rate? Lost a $900 job in Boise over email silence
Back in 2015 I closed a whole spring of landscaping work on a verbal yes over coffee, but last month a client in Boise went quiet for 9 days while I held the $900 slot and I finally had to give it away. I miss when a follow up call was enough instead of chasing signatures through three different apps. How do you all handle holding dates while a quote just sits there?
