Saw a clever rate display at a coffee shop in Austin

I was at a place called Houndstooth Coffee last week and noticed they had their catering menu posted with clear package tiers. It showed three options with exact prices and what each included, like 'Espresso Cart - $250 for up to 50 guests'. It made me realize I should list my freelance design services the same way, so clients know exactly what they're paying for upfront. Has anyone else tried breaking their rates into simple packages like that?

Consider how it changes the kind of client you attract. Clear packages filter out the people who want to nickel and dime every little thing, so you end up working with folks who value your time and see the service as a complete solution.

How did it work out for you? I switched to package pricing last year and it cut my back-and-forth emails in half, lol.

Oh for sure, it totally changes the client vibe. I mean, you stop getting those "but what if we skip the baseboards" questions, you know? It just makes everything smoother.
