Talked to a realtor in Detroit and now I quote flat fees differently

I was complaining to my buddy Mike, he sells houses in Detroit, about how clients always nickel and dime my hourly rate. He told me he stopped charging per showing and started quoting a flat package for the whole listing period. Said his close rate jumped from 40% to roughly 65% after he made the numbers simple and fixed. Has anyone else tried switching from hourly to a flat project price to stop the rate haggling?

That flat package angle is interesting, but the real win might be how it shifts the client's focus from your time to their outcome. If you frame it around what the property needs to sell for, not what you'll do, the haggling stops on its own.

Wrap it in a number and watch them stop nickel-and-diming you entirely.
