I finally stopped using cable cutters on brake housing and switched to the Dremel with a cutoff wheel
After mangling four Jagwire housings last month trying to get that perfect square cut, I grabbed my Dremel instead and got cleaner ends in half the time, so what are you all using to keep your housing cuts from pinching the inner liner?
The "Dremel with a cutoff wheel" thing honestly sounded like overkill to me for years, and I figured good cable cutters were all you really needed. But after fighting with pinched liners and squished ends one too many times, I finally tried it and yeah, the cut is way cleaner and the inner liner stays round. Takes a sec to get the hang of it but I'm not going back.
