Pro tip: check your spoke tension before a big ride, not after
I learned this the hard way last Saturday on a 40 mile loop near the river trail. About 15 miles in I heard this pinging sound and thought it was just debris. Turned out three spokes on my rear wheel had loosened up and one snapped clean off. I had put new wheels on about 2 months ago and never checked them after break in. Had to walk my bike 3 miles to a gas station and call my buddy to come get me with his truck. Idk why I didn't think to check them sooner, I know better. Has anyone else had a wheel come loose on them like that after a fresh build?
