Showerthought: I fought a stuck seatpost for an hour with a pipe wrench.
Grabbed the shop's ammonia mix, soaked it for 20 minutes, and it spun right out. Why did I ever skip the chemical step first?

Paulnguyen is right about the chemical soak, it saved me so much time last week. Just make sure you follow the safety stuff on the bottle. That step is way easier than scrubbing for hours.
