Tried to make a coat rack from retired derailleurs and now my entryway is a danger zone
My cat keeps getting her whiskers caught in the jockey wheels.

Yeah, the whisker-trimming station idea is clever. My cat's whiskers get snagged on the woven grass part of her basket all the time. A built-in trim spot would actually be pretty handy to fix those frayed ends.
