Just realized I was wrong about audiobooks not counting as reading
I used to be that person who rolled my eyes when someone said they 'read' a book by listening to it. Then my book club picked The Goldfinch which is like 800 pages and I only had 2 weeks before the meeting. Gave the audiobook a shot during my commute and honestly I retained just as much as when I read print. Been listening during my lunch walks ever since. Anyone else change their mind about something after giving it a fair try?

Oh man, World War Z on audio is a whole different beast with the full cast.

Started listening to audiobooks last year when my dog had surgery and I had to sit with her for hours. I picked up World War Z on a whim and got completely sucked in, pacing around my living room while she slept. Now I can't do chores without a book in my ears. My husband thinks I'm weird for vacuuming while laughing at some joke in a memoir.

Ain't it weird how the stuff we judge hardest ends up being what we like most? @bell.jessica I get the vacuuming thing.
