My club picked The Overstory and I thought the tree chapters were filler, then we argued about it for 2 hours in Madison
I showed up to the meeting at the library on Monroe St ready to say the tree parts were padding, but a guy named Ray quoted the chestnut blight chapter word for word and now I'm the one who brought a 6 page outline to the next one, so how do you all handle it when the person who hated a book ends up defending it?
