Our book club used to fight about the ending, now we just pick a new book
For a year, we'd spend the whole second meeting arguing over the last chapter. After our leader quit in March, we made a rule: one hour max on the ending, then we vote on the next pick. It's way less stressful now. Anyone else's group have a rule that saved it?

Good rule, we banned spoilers.

Our forum tried a total spoiler ban last year and it killed discussion. People were too scared to post anything about new episodes. We switched to a 48 hour spoiler tag rule and activity went way back up.
