Can we talk about the time my journal got soaked at the coffee shop on Elm Street?
I was setting up my weekly spread at The Daily Grind last month when a full latte spilled right across the open pages. I had to let it dry for two days, and the ghosting from the ink bled through five sheets. Who else has had a journal disaster that made you change your setup completely?

My dog ate my 2022 planner, so I switched to a metal cover.

Metal covers are a lifesaver for that.

Did you try putting paper towels between the wet pages while it was drying? That saved my Hobonichi when I knocked over a mug of tea at work. I also switched to using a pencil board under my writing hand so if something spills again, the ink from the previous page won't ghost through as badly. Been a game changer for my weekly spreads ever since.
