Lost a whole week of tracking because my pen bled through the page
I had the perfect week going in my bullet journal. Every task checked off, mood tracker filled in, meals logged. Then I flipped the page and saw all my entries from Tuesday and Wednesday were completely destroyed. It was one of those G2 pens I've used for years, never had a problem. But that specific notebook paper just couldn't handle the ink. The bleed was so bad I couldn't read half my notes from a work meeting. I spent an hour trying to salvage what I could with a fine tip Sharpie on the other side. Has anyone else had a notebook brand that just doesn't work with certain pens?

G2 pens wrecked my favorite planner last year.

Wait, did you try different paper weights or just assume the notebook would handle it? I've noticed that some of those cheaper spiral notebooks with the super thin pages just can't handle gel ink no matter what you do. But Moleskine and Leuchtturm are usually fine with G2s in my experience. What brand was the notebook that failed on you?

Yeah totally @emma_lee22! I had the exact same thing happen with a random Target brand notebook - that thin paper just soaked up the gel ink and made everything look messy. My Leuchtturms handle G2s like a dream though, never had bleedthrough on those.
