My 'perfect' pen collection cost me $200 and I still just use the free one from the bank

I got obsessed with finding the ideal archival ink and bought a dozen different ones, but my go-to is still that basic blue ballpoint. Anyone else have a drawer full of fancy pens they never touch?

Honestly, that bank pen is a trap. It feels fine until you write a full page and your hand cramps up. Those fancy pens you bought are tools, not museum pieces. Letting them sit in a drawer is a total waste of good design. A smooth, reliable pen makes the act of writing something you actually enjoy. You spent the money, so you might as well get the use out of it.
