Serious question, are you guys actually using your bullet journals?

I keep seeing these perfect, artistic spreads online, but my friend in Chicago just admitted she hasn't opened hers in three months. The whole point is to use it, not just make it pretty. How many of you are actually tracking tasks daily versus just setting it up?

Three months? That's actually better than my buddy Dave in Tucson who bought a $65 Leuchtturm last January, filled out the index and key pages, then left it in his glovebox until the summer melted the spine glue. Here's what I want to know from the people who do keep up with it - are you actually looking back at what you wrote last week or last month, or is it more like a daily checklist you throw away mentally after you finish it? Because I know I've got a whole notebook of half-finished monthly spreads and trackers that I never once reviewed, and that feels like a different kind of waste than just letting the book sit there empty.

That "whole point is to use it" thing is why I just use a messy notebook and a pen.

My fancy notebook is too pretty to ruin, so it just sits there judging my grocery lists.

Whole point is to use it" is so true. What's the nicest thing you've ever actually USED up without feeling bad about it?
