Switched from a daily to a weekly log and my brain feels so much lighter
I used to set up a new page every morning with a long list of tasks, but I'd get stuck rewriting the same things. Last month I tried a single weekly spread with my main goals at the top and just seven small boxes for daily notes. The difference is I'm not starting from scratch each day, so I actually move things forward. Has anyone else found a simpler layout that finally clicked?

Starting from scratch each day" is the worst. That weekly spread sounds like it cuts out so much friction.

Nah, starting fresh each morning is way better. A weekly template just locks you into a plan that's probably wrong by Tuesday. That friction you hate is actually what keeps things flexible.

Totally get that. I used to do the same thing and it wasted so much time. Setting up a basic weekly template on Sunday night was a complete game changer for me.

That "starting fresh each morning" thing sounds like busywork disguised as planning. I switched to a weekly layout and stopped feeling like I was drowning in yesterday's unfinished nonsense. A little structure beats starting over every day, hands down.
