That time a librarian showed me her index system hack
Honestly, I was at the local library downtown last Tuesday just browsing and this older librarian saw my bullet journal peeking out of my bag. She asked if she could look at it, then pointed out how I was grouping my weekly tasks all wrong. She showed me her own setup where she uses a color-coded index in the front of her journal that matches the edge tabs. It blew my mind how simple it was, just 5 colors for 5 categories and now I flip to anything in seconds. Has anyone else picked up a random tip from a stranger like that?

Wait, she asked to look at your bullet journal? That's wild. I'd be too nervous to let a stranger flip through mine.

The sticky note guy @tessap97 mentioned sounds solid. But here's the thing nobody's saying. Strangers are actually safer to share with than friends. Your coworker might judge your messy spreads or tease you about your habit tracker. A stranger? They'll never see you again. Low stakes. Plus they give raw honest advice. No sugarcoating because they don't care about hurting your feelings.

Ha, nice! @anthony_jackson31 I totally get the nerves thing, but honestly most people just want to help. I had a guy at a coffee shop once show me how he uses sticky notes to plan his week and it changed my whole system. Sometimes the best tips come from strangers who just get what you're trying to do.
