A florist in Savannah showed me her contract, and one line in it blew my mind
She makes wedding clients pay for the flowers 30 days before the date, not the day of, and she said she has not been stiffed once in 6 years. I had been letting folks pay the morning of the event, and surprise, two of them ghosted me after the setup. Do you all take payment upfront for event work, or is that just a flowers thing?
