Client asked me to fake testimonials, then stiffed me on the final invoice
Had a small business owner in Austin promise a $900 web copy package, then after I delivered, she said she wanted me to write 5 fake 5-star reviews to 'help her rank better.' I said no, and she refused to pay the last $300. Has anyone else had a client try to sneak in shady requests after the work is done and then use that as an excuse not to pay?
