Had a client try to negotiate my pest control price down by 50% after I already treated their place

Last month I did a full termite treatment for a house in Phoenix and when I sent the invoice the guy said he'd only pay half because he 'didn't see any bugs' during the service. Has anyone else had a client pull something like that after you finished the job?

Did it actually screw someone over who couldn't afford to fight it?

Respectfully, @dakota_miller93, I get where you're coming from, but I don't see it that way. Treating first and billing later is how some people get care they wouldn't otherwise afford. Yeah, it can backfire if someone bails, but that's a risk the clinic chose to take. Kinda sounds like you're blaming a patient for taking help that was offered, not the system that makes it necessary.
