Honestly, I realized I was the problem when a client in Austin asked for a refund after the 4th revision.

I was doing web design and kept saying yes to every small change, like moving a button 2 pixels, because I wanted to be nice. The client finally sent a long email saying the constant tweaks made the site feel less professional and they lost confidence. So, am I wrong for trying to be too accommodating, or should I have stuck to my original plan from the start?

Could it be that your endless tweaks made them feel like you didn't have a strong vision?

Wait, they asked for a refund because you were being too nice? That's wild!

Totally get it, @grant413. Being too nice can backfire. Clients hire you for your expertise, not your endless yeses.
