Shoutout to the guy at the Charlotte airport who watched me hand over 6 revisions for free
Back in 2016 I was doing freelance logo work and I had this one guy who kept asking for tiny tweaks, and I just kept doing them because I thought that was how you kept a customer happy. One night I was on a layover in Charlotte and I showed my screen to a random dude at the bar, and he asked me flat out if I was charging for any of it. I said no, and he just laughed and said I was teaching the guy that my time was free. That was the moment it clicked. Now I put a number on revisions in the contract, two rounds included, $75 each after that. How do you all bring up revision limits without sounding like you're nickel and diming them?
