Spent $200 on a project management tool that saved me from a nightmare client
Last month I took on a logo job for a local bakery. They kept changing colors every day and I was losing track of what we agreed on. I finally spent $200 on a simple tracker app that logs every revision request with timestamps. When they tried to say I missed their last three changes, I showed them the exact dates they asked for them. Has anyone else had a client gaslight them about feedback timing?

Oh man, @gray314 I had a similar thing with a client who kept "forgetting" their own emails.

Ugh, the color-changing bakery client sounds exhausting (and honestly, a little shady). I had a similar thing with a website project where the client started claiming I ignored three rounds of feedback. I pulled up my free Trello board that I use for notes and showed them the dates they actually sent those emails, which was the day before our deadline. It's such a relief to have that paper trail (or digital trail, I guess) when they try to rewrite history.
