TIL sending a simple Loom video before a call saves hours of back-and-forth
I was dead set against using video messages for client approvals, thinking they were just another gimmick, but after one 3 minute walkthrough got a green light in 10 minutes instead of 3 days of email chain hell I'm a total convert. Has anyone else found a quick hack that actually cuts down client confusion and delays?

Yeah I was totally that person rolling their eyes at Loom links... then I had a project where a 2 minute video saved me from rewriting an entire proposal because I just walked them through it and they actually understood what I meant. Completely changed my mind on the whole thing.

Oh I hear you on this! I had a similar turnaround when I needed to explain a complicated spreadsheet to my client and a quick 3 minute walkthrough saved me from typing five emails back and forth. Now I use them for anything that would take more than a paragraph to explain in writing.
