I finally stopped taking clients who haggle on price and it saved my sanity
Honestly, I used to let people talk me down from my $500 logo package to $350 just to get the gig. Ngl, I thought it was better than having no work. But after one client in Denver kept asking for revisions for 6 months after paying half, I snapped. I switched to a strict no-negotiation policy and lost about 3 leads in the first month. But the clients I did land respected the price and paid on time, no drama. Has anyone else drawn a hard line on pricing and seen it backfire or work out?

Lower prices attract the worst clients, period. Had a guy try to talk me down from a $750 web design to $400 and then demanded I add an ecommerce store for free. Nope. Walked away and the next client paid full price without blinking and referred me to two others.

Different clients just have different budgets, that's all.

Yeah "paying full price without blinking" is just like how people treat discount stores vs nice restaurants completely different.
