Ever wonder if that approach works with rude neighbors? I had a guy next door who complained about everything, but bringing him homemade cookies actually changed things.

Kindness is a legit tactic, not a weakness. Works if you stick with it.

It worked for me too. A difficult client calmed down after I sent a thank you note.
