PSA: One client's complaint about my timestamps changed my whole editing flow

I had a client in Austin tell me my timestamps were off by 3 seconds on a 45-minute video, and I realized they were right. Now I check each clip's original capture time before I even start cutting.

Measuring beans wrong by 2 grams" - wait, that's a thing?

That thing about the 3-second error really hit home for me. It's wild how one little thing can make you question everything you thought was solid. I've noticed this pattern everywhere now - like how I used to think my coffee routine was perfect until I realized I was measuring the beans wrong by like 2 grams. Or when I thought I was good at parking until a friend pointed out I always leave the wheel turned a bit. It's like our brains get comfortable with being slightly off and we just stop noticing until someone shows us the real number.

It makes you wonder how many other things we're all just a little bit off about without even knowing it. @abbyhall you nailed it with that coffee example, that's exactly the kind of thing I catch myself doing all the time now.
