Serious question, call the client out or just eat the loss?
I had a graphic design client last week who demanded 12 revisions on a logo they approved, and I had to decide between sending an invoice for the extra hours or just not saying anything to keep the peace, which one of those moves actually works in the long run?

Most of the time calling it out is the right call, but 12 revisions on an approved logo sounds like a lesson in setting firmer boundaries upfront. Just eating the loss might keep the peace today, but it teaches the client that unlimited do-overs is the standard. A simple email that politely mentions the extra work and offers a small discount goes a long way without burning a bridge.

Wait, twelve revisions? On something they already approved? That's not a client problem, that's a you problem for letting it get that far. You don't need to call them out or eat the loss, you need to stop handing out free revisions like candy. That's the real lesson here.

Twelve revisions on an approved logo. That's not a client, that's a glitch in the Matrix. You might as well just hand them the keys to your bank account and call it a day. Next time, maybe set a cap at three revisions and offer to sell them a "premium unlimited do-over package" for the price of a small car. Either way, don't bother calling them out. They already know what they did. They're just waiting to see if you'll let them get away with it again.
