Turns out my $47 timer app finally fixed my client meeting problem

I kept having clients who booked calls and just never showed up, or worse, they showed up 20 minutes late and blamed me for not reminding them. I tried calendar flags, email pings, even sending a text the night before, nothing worked. Last month I dropped 47 bucks on a meeting reminder app that sends a countdown text at 2 hours and then again at 15 minutes out. First week, two clients actually messaged me back saying thanks for the heads up, and one even showed up on time for once. The app also logs who opened the reminder, so I can see when a client is ignoring me before the call even starts. It does not fix the actual work, but it kills the excuse game, and that alone is worth the cash. Anyone else found a cheap tool that stopped the no-show pattern, or do you just charge a ghost fee now?
