Vent: The pixel-perfect logo client who never approved anything

After 6 months in Denver, I finally compared my "give them unlimited revisions" approach against a flat 3-round cap on a $2,000 branding job, and the capped one finished in 2 weeks while the other one is still going. The difference was setting a hard deadline that forced the client to actually decide instead of picking at every tiny detail. Has anyone else found that the more freedom you offer, the longer the nightmare drags on?

SIX MONTHS?! That is genuinely WILD to me. I would have lost my mind way before that, especially with a $2,000 job that should have a clear scope. The fact that you let it drag for half a year just shows how much power you gave away at the start, the whole "unlimited" thing basically told them you'd wait forever. Hard deadline is the only thing that snaps people out of their tweaking loop, no joke.
