Indemnity clause that looked fine took my warranty work for granted
I skimmed a boilerplate indemnity section in a service agreement last fall and figured it was standard, but after a $4,200 repair dispute in Portland, my insurer quoted that exact wording to deny coverage. Now I read every 'hold harmless' line twice and ask the other side what they actually intend it to cover. Anyone else get burned by boilerplate that turned out way broader than it seemed?
