Five months. You ignored her for five whole months. I cannot wrap my head around that. A 45 day cancellation clause means if anything goes wrong you are on the hook for thousands of dollars, and you kept signing them anyway. Did she eventually just give up on you or did one of those contracts finally blow up in your face? I am genuinely dying to know what it took for you to stop.
