A cashier in Lisbon made me rethink my whole packing list

I was buying a 3 euro notebook at a random papelaria in Alfama and she asked why my backpack was so heavy, then pointed out I'd been carrying a rain jacket, a fleece, and a wool sweater for two months of summer heat, so I dumped the fleece in a donation bin that afternoon and haven't missed it since, has anyone else had a stranger call out something obvious about their gear?
