Chiang Mai cafe kicked me out after 90 minutes

Sat down at a popular spot near Nimman with my laptop at 9am, bought a coffee and a pastry, and at 10:30 the owner told me they need the table for lunch. I didn't even finish my email draft. How do you all scope out work-friendly cafes before committing, or do you just bounce around like this?

90 minutes? That's barely enough time to down the coffee, let alone finish a thought. I'd be sitting there in shock too, that owner clearly never worked from a cafe a day in their life.
