DAE know that 7% of nomads stay in one spot over a year? That stat floored me
I came across a survey from a nomad newsletter while I was in Medellin last month, and the number was way higher than I guessed. I always figured everyone moved every 2 to 3 months like I do, so now I'm curious if a slow travel year is worth trying. How long do you usually stay somewhere before you get antsy?
A buddy of mine parked himself in Lisbon for 14 months and swears it was the best move he ever made. He got a real apartment, made actual friends, and stopped wasting whole days on buses and flights. My antsy limit is still about 3 months though, so I'll keep living through his stories.
