DAE think coworking day passes beat cafes for actual work?
My wifi in Chiang Mai died during a client call last Tuesday, so I grabbed a $12 day pass at a coworking spot on Nimman Road instead of my usual cafe. The call went fine, but now I am torn. The pass cost more than my whole coffee and snack budget at the cafe, yet I got a real desk and nobody hovered for my table after 40 minutes. On the other hand, I met zero new people there, while the cafe crowd is how I found my last two travel buddies. Which one actually wins for you, the cheap social buzz or the paid quiet?
