Every co-working space I book in Europe seems to price by the hour now

Checked five spots in Lisbon last week and three of them switched to hourly passes instead of day rates, which kills my whole afternoon workflow. Has anyone else seen this shift in other cities, or is Portugal just testing the worst pricing model first?

Is your friend's afternoon totally wrecked too? A buddy of mine hit the same thing in Berlin last month. She booked a "day pass" online, showed up at 10 am, and the front desk told her it was actually an hourly deal now. By 3 pm she'd already spent like 28 euros and still had two client calls left. She ended up just moving to a cafe down the street and eating the cost. Now she triple-checks the fine print before booking anything.
