Found a bomb co-working spot in Medellin for $150 a month

Last month I landed in Medellin and needed a quiet place to work after my hostel wifi kept dropping. I walked into this spot called Koala near Poblado that had solid fiber internet and free coffee. They let me pay week by week instead of locking into a contract. Has anyone else found hidden gem co-working spaces that don't break the bank?

Oh man, Koala is legit! I stumbled into that same spot last year and honestly it saved my whole trip. I feel you on the outlet situation though, I started showing up at 7:45 just to get that corner desk with the power strip. The free coffee is a lifesaver but yeah the second floor gets brutal around lunchtime, I ended up working from the patio with a laptop stand just to stay cool. My thing was I'd grab breakfast at a cafe nearby first then roll in right at 8 and it worked perfectly. The week by week thing is clutch too, I hate being locked into something when plans change.

Koala on Via Primavera right? I stayed three months there last year. The trick is to show up right when they open at 8am to grab a desk near the outlets. I learned the hard way that the second floor gets way too hot by noon. If you need a backup spot, Selina has a co-work pass for $100 a month but their internet gets slow during peak hours. I'd avoid the place near Parque Lleras even if they offer cheap rates. The noise from the clubs at night makes it useless for any real work.

Totally agree, I would show up at 8am too or everything good is gone in ten minutes.
