Just got back from a coffee shop in Medellín that runs on a rooftop solar panel setup

Saw this spot in El Poblado where the owner rigged his own battery bank to run three laptops and an espresso machine off grid, and it got me thinking about how easy it would be to work from anywhere with a little planning. Has anyone else tried living off solar while bouncing between cities?

Wait are you still in Medellin? I tried something similar in Thailand last year with a little portable solar panel and a power bank setup, worked pretty good for my phone and camera gear. Definitely eye opening how much freedom you get when you can just roll into a new city and work from a park or whatever.
