Just looked up the old price for a coworking pass in Chiang Mai
I was cleaning out my old laptop bag and found a receipt from 2017 for a monthly pass at Punspace. It was 3,500 baht, which was about $100 back then. I checked their site today and the same pass is now 5,900 baht. Kind of crazy how the cost of the nomad basics has gone up in some spots. Anyone else noticed big price jumps in places that used to be super cheap?

Found an old receipt from a cafe in Bangkok. Their large coffee went from 60 to 95 baht in just four years. It adds up fast.

Look at what you get for that price now though. That cafe probably improved their beans, upgraded equipment, and pays staff more. The extra 35 baht buys a better drink and supports a local business growing. Inflation hits everything, but quality often goes up with the cost.

My buddy tried to book his old guesthouse in Pai last month. The rate tripled since 2019, so he just came home early.
