Just moved my whole setup to Lisbon and the thing that almost broke me was plug adapters, not visas
Spent 11 days and about 40 euros hunting down the right grounded adapter for my monitor and router because two different shops in Baixa sold me ones that fit but didn't actually ground. Anyone else find that the tiny gear stuff eats way more time than the big scary paperwork?

Did you check if the grounding issue was actually the adapter or the outlet itself? Old buildings in Lisbon sometimes have outlets that look grounded but the wiring behind them isn't hooked up right. I'd grab a cheap outlet tester before buying a fourth adapter, saves you the guesswork.
