PSA: The 3am internet hunt in Chiang Mai is real
Last week, my client call dropped three times because the cafe wifi cut out. Had to walk six blocks to a 7-Eleven just to send a file. Anyone know a solid co-working spot near Nimman that actually stays open past 10pm?

Ugh that's brutal. I once lost a whole draft email when the power blinked at midnight near Maya mall. Honestly I just gave up and went to bed after that lol.

Been there, that's the worst feeling.

What if the real work isn't the job itself, but just getting the basics to function? It's like the whole system is held together with tape. My phone plan drops calls if I walk indoors, the electric scooter app freezes when I need it most, and every cafe has a different login page that never loads right. We spend half our energy just making the tools work instead of using them.

Ever notice how the whole "digital nomad" promise feels broken when the basics don't work? It's not just late-night wifi. It's the bank app that only loads at dawn, or the food delivery that cancels because their tablet lost signal. Feels like we're all just patching together a workday from whatever random spot has a connection that hour.
