Rant: Coworking pass vs coffee shop hopping for 3 months straight

I did the coffee shop thing my first 3 months in Medellin. Thought I was saving money. But between buying overpriced lattes just to stay, bad WiFi cutting out during client calls, and constantly moving when it got crowded, I was losing like 20 bucks a day and wasting 2 hours hunting for a seat. Finally got a month pass at a coworking spot for $150. Steady fiber internet, unlimited coffee, and a desk I don't have to defend. I actually get work done now. Has anyone else made the switch and seen a big difference?

Wait, $20 a day? For real? That's like $600 a month just for the privilege of hunting down a table and getting kicked out when it gets busy. That's insane to me. I'd rather spend that on a proper coworking spot where my connection doesn't crap out during a Zoom call with a client. Honestly the WiFi thing is the biggest deal breaker for me, I can't be dealing with that stress over a $5 latte.
