Rant: coworking spaces vs coffee shops for actual work

Spent 3 months hopping coffee shops in Chiang Mai thinking I was saving money. Finally tried a coworking space for $150 a month and I got more done in 2 weeks than the whole 3 months before. The constant noise and hunting for outlets in coffee shops was killing my focus. Anyone else find coworking spaces worth the cash or just me?

Totally feel you. Noise and outlet hunting is the worst.

Yeah, "outlet hunting" is a pain, but @the_nancy I think you meant "outlet" as in a power plug, right? Not like a shopping outlet. Because finding a power outlet in a crowded coffee shop is its own level of hell. I've literally sat on the floor by a wall outlet before just to charge my phone. The buzzing lights and chatter just make it worse when you're already stressed about battery life.
