Stumbled on a stat about coworking costs that blew my mind

I was looking into budgeting for my next move and found out that the average monthly coworking membership in Bali is only $120. But in London, it's like $450 for a basic desk. That's a huge gap for the same kind of work. I checked a few different city listings on a nomad cost site called Nomad List and it really put things in perspective for me. How are you guys picking your next base - do you factor in coworking prices or just wing it?

Totally changed my mind on this. I always figured coworking was just a small expense but seeing London vs Bali laid out like that is wild. Definitely gonna check coworking costs before I pick my next spot now.

People really overthink coworking costs though... a good wifi connection and a quiet corner in a cafe can do the same thing for the price of a coffee. Unless you're taking video calls all day those fancy spaces are just burning cash.

Cafe wifi gets sketchy when it's busy though.
