Warning: co-working passes in Bali changed my whole routine

I spent 3 months bouncing between cafes in Canggu thinking I was saving money. The wifi was fine but I kept buying $5 lattes and snacks just to justify sitting there. Finally gave in and got a monthly pass at a co-working spot for $120. The quiet rooms alone were worth it, plus I stopped eating out of boredom. Turns out my old setup cost me about $180 a month in overpriced drinks and stress. Now I actually knock out my work by 2pm and have real energy for the beach. Has anyone else found that paying for a dedicated desk beats the free cafe route? I would love cheaper alternatives that are not just... another cafe.

Library cards and public uni spaces are free if you need a change sometimes.
