Finally swapped my corded circular saw for a battery one after a job in Phoenix with no power
I was always team corded because I thought batteries would die halfway through a cut, but after that 90 degree day hauling an extension cord through three rooms I gave in and now I can't believe I waited so long, has anyone else made the switch and regretted it?

Jessica, you said you've been through THREE different battery platforms that all left you stranded. Were these all from the same brand or did you try a few? Because I moved to Milwaukee after using a no-name brand and the difference in battery life was insane.

Oh come on, you'll regret it the first time that battery dies mid-cut on a ladder or up on a roof. I've been through three different battery platforms and every single one left me stranded at the worst possible moment. A corded saw never runs out of power and never costs me another $200 for a spare battery I forgot to charge.

Hold up a second, @jessica331, I get your frustration with battery stuff but I gotta gently push back on the corded being totally bulletproof. I had a corded circular saw fall off a ladder once and the plug yanked out of the wall breaker, then I had to climb back down in the rain to reset it. That was way more annoying than swapping a battery. Your mileage may vary for sure, but I think the newer battery platforms have really improved the runtime and the quick-charge times. A spare battery sitting in my truck charger has saved me more times than I can count.
